hey guys!!
Imagine yourself at age 9, frizzy hair and all, and you have just gotten the instructions to clean up your room. You are aware of the raging sea of misplaced toys on the floor that you’ve been tip toeing around since 3 Tuesdays ago; it needs to be done. The connection of understanding the task needs to be done is there, but the motivation is in the dumps. It is simply too daunting to hunt through each and every toy and place it where it belongs. After avoiding to clean the mess one too may times, your foot lands on an extra sharp Lego that was nowhere to be seen until that very moment. Nine year old you immediately gathers all the motivation needed to put away all the toys as your throbbing big toe is now a driving reminder for the consequences of delaying a necessary chore.
The story above is present day me! When God puts an idea and a dream in your heart, girl go do it! Don’t be a bum to let that spark drown beneath your ever growing schedule. You’re not unqualified, you’re not too late, you’re not too young, you are not any of the lies that keep swirling around in your head. If God gives you an idea, you best bet He will provide, make a way for it, and you are going to love it! After putting it off one too many times, you may find yourself stepping on a Lego (been there). He’s a good Father, trust that He has the best for you! 🙂
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17

The biggest piece of advice we could give (and the lesson God has been pounding into us) is to step back and let God plan your schedule.
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14
